on, snowed on and baked in the hot sun. long open highways for high
speed driving to twisty mountain roads for fun car handling testing.
we got up over 7000 ft to -4 ft in elevation... had hours of non-stop
driving to sitting in traffic. the snow warning in the bim lit up at
23 degrees, at during the desert drive we hit 92 degrees.
the kiddos tested the electronics by having DVD players plugged in the
whole time... performance is a sure thing, fun to drive a guaranteed
bonus. mpg was excellent even an average of 80+ mph got 30mpg.
mountain driving at an average of 65+ got 26mpg. with a total of 1,250
miles, the bim ate 3 tanks full of premium petrol.
can't really say much anymore until you get to drive one hard,
shifting at redlines and turning at hairpin mountain roads.... can't
wait to get an M3.
now back in S. Cal for a car wash to get ready for next adventure
