my passion for cars took a long vacation, but now it's back in full
swing...I'm on a mission to fix up the highlander also now that I'm
noticing every single pock mark and scratch.... stay tuned for tips an

improve performance, some way or another it seems to feel faster when
you know its clean.

this is the flight from Dallas to NYC. we were exiting the airplane
last and J asked if we can see inside the cockpit. the captain was
kind enough to let J sit on the captains chair and wear his hat.
J had a blast, you tell by his smile...awesome day.

yup, try hailing a cab in NY in the rain with a 2 yr old & a 6 yr old
with both arms holding them and the umbrella.

Day 1 in NY

got to LGA 30 minutes ahead of sched... but that was all eaten up by
waiting for the luggage. decided to catch a cab ride to Times
Square...the ride was as authentic NY as you can get, almost got into
an accident, our driver giving them the finger, honking at anyone that
gets in the way, after $26.50 we are standing in front of our hotel on
time square.
the room is very nice better than I expected. we were hoping for a
view of time square but was not lucky enough...we can see the river
from our window. Internet access is not free so now I have to rely on
my phone and AT&T. hoping for a sunny day tomorrow but it looks like
it ain't gonna happen, spring showers are here....

both S & J fell asleep on the connecting flight from Dallas to New
York. it's now almost midnight and they wide awake. the 3 hour jetlag
does not help either....

ride... pit stop, stretch legs, let kids expend same energy... then on
