this is J. hanging out at the weekly sunday family get together in
lola's house. the den in Azusa.

I remember a conversation w/ J when he turned 6 a year ago:

J: dad, people from Korea are called Koreans...
mootz: that's correct,....what about people from Italy? what are they called...
J: ooooh I know that one, Italians!!
mootz: what about from Hawaii?
J: Hawaiians...
mootz: what about from Russia?
J: Russians...
mootz: wow! you're good..... let's see,...what about people from China?
J: ooooh I know that too, they are Chinese!
mootz: very good, and what about from Japan..
(J pauses & looked puzzled... while starring at me he answers...)
J: ninjas?
