got to downtown, 3 blocks from my stop, and the 6:35 bus driver pops his head in our bus and talks to our driver, "can u take my passengers? my bus is going 2 miles per hour!" - double sucker punched. now everyone from the sardine packed 6:35 bus is moving to our wide open, space heaven bus. I grabbed my umbrella and jumped out. I'll walk 3 blocks in the rain instead, thank you very much.

...punch! yes, the commuter on today's Foothill 499 6:35am bus was sucker punched by Foothill Transit. Sucker Punch!

20+ people deep...

do u see the 45 mph Speed Limit sign? that is the start of the line ti get on the bus - Foothill 499 San Dimas! I'm standing 23rd, in the rain, 40 degrees and listening to my fellow
commuters speculate why the bus did not show up!

it's 6:55 and here comes the 6:35 bus running 20 minutes late! and it was
almost full already. but people just want to get out of the rain, so they packed in. standing room only with wet umbrellas and jackets, shoulder to shoulder...ummm, nope not me. I'm out, taking my chances on the next bus - the 6:45 bus which at this time is only 10 minutes late... bye bye jam packed sardines bus, the aroma of foothill transit commuters will be on you all day.

so, the 6:35 bus leaves at 7:00. rain starts to intensify as we watch the jam packed bus race towards downtown LA. did I make the right choice of staying? waiting for the next bus?
and what do you know... in less than a minute here another bus comes, and it's empty! WIN! LIKE! double LIKE! hahaha, Sucker Punch! happy ending.
