twilight zone moment.

it was the weirdest thing on not having any cars on the freeway on
rush hour in LA. it was empty when I got on the 10 East from the park
and ride from Via Verde... just eerie..

very entertaining Friday bus ride home.

bus F499 friday adventure.

yes... it went on and on and on. honey if you're reading, you know how
it is... hahahaha..

weekend bus line.

yup. missed the 4:10p bus. got on the 4:20p which ran for about a
block and broke down!! driver tries to re-start the engine. but no
juice. the weekend trip is not starting out very well... waited and
waited for the next bus at this Bunker Hill stop near the historic
downtown LA.

saw some people from the office waiting at the same stop. I really
don't like this stop because it's crowded all the time. my stop is up
the hill where most people can't walk up too.

finally F499 gets here. things are looking better until one of my
"hyper" staff from the office gets on the same bus... and before I can
sneak out of her site I hear, "ooh that's my boss!!!". and lo and
behold half the bus people are looking at me! umm nice... yes, hello
everyone! great!

she then proceeds to save a seat for me, asked another lady to move!!
i just jumped on the first seat nearest me, and texted her
immediatedly and signaled her to check her cell..."You can't reserve
seats in a public bus. And please thank the nice lady for moving for
me!"

nope. it does not end there. if you meet her you'll instantly know
why. thank you for reading my bus adventures on Foothill Transit 499.

portrait when the phone rings... and delivers trouble in the server
farm. looks like it's going to be a running breakfast and a hectic
Friday. hey, but how bad could it be if I'm still able to blog...

hell's kitchen.

contrary to the title, it's an awesome day in LA. with the City Hall
gazing down from the background a tv crew is currently shooting an
episode of hell's kitchen at the LA County Mall. Chef Ramsey was just
hanging out at the wings while the competing chefs did thier thing.

there were 5 white lunch trucks (you can see them just below the
trees). sorry, the crew was making sure no one was taking any
pictures... they served around 50 downtown workers, volunteer judges...

nigerian, ethiopian, lebanese-armenian, iranian-armenian, cambodian, chinese, mexican and filipino - all american citizens! decided to sit outside on this fine sunny day. temps are perfect, the
breeze has that wintry chill, and it smells clean (which I doubt since
this is LA.)

Department of Water and Power, and the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion
(where the Oscars used to be held).

fine February Monday morning in the city if angels. I'm planning to sit
outside and work from a laptop for a while... hmmm, maybe find something interesting to blog about. ooh, wait, it's not blog the heck out of the day today.... we'll see.

healthy living, starts with healthy shopping. you are what you eat? powered by rice? nope, not here. stopped eating too much complex carbs, sodium and fat for a while now. processed frozen food found in your local markets will slowly kill you. read the label and see what's in it. eating out all the time? think twice.

don't get me wrong, i love eating. in fact, i am constantly eating all day long. but I pick what I eat carefully. eat to fuel physical activities and maximize mental performance. plus, portion control is a major key.

alcohol? excessive amounts and addicting buzzed feeling. FAIL! get your high from working out, endorphin highs are the only highs you should experience. get out and start running, JUST DO IT!! No Fear!
